I love this place. This place has the best deal for its quality food. their food never disappointed me and the service was always attentive. It often gets packed so DO make reservation especially Fri-Sun.
I' ve seen people lined up for like, 30min. Im sure noone wants to do that.
I always have their dynamite rolls and assorted sashimi. Their oyster motoyaki is the best I ve tasted in Vancouver (tho really, it's pieces of oysters (mind you they are not the fresh shuckled one) and mayo and onions. Foods are consistent, the quality is lot better than the price you pay!!!!! I always go there when I crave Japanese food.

Obviously you cannot compare this place with authentic Korean foods in Korea. But nonetheless, I think it does pretty good job and better than most of the Korean Restaurants in Vancouver area. They are quite busy during dinner times so the young servers really try to do their best to serve all the customers. Btw, did you know you could ring a bell attached to your table?????? since the restaurant has dividers servers can't see you! duh! duh! if you ring the bell they will come in 5 min.
I often have the seafood combo for 2-3 people (but eat it with 4 people and get so full). Always good, never disappointing. It's good to order separate dishes too. I always like beef rib noodle soup. The pancakes are not really traditional Korean style and too oily for my taste.
Btw, the concept of cooking yourself is really so you can enjoy food with the people you came while grilling your meat/fish and sharing. Too bad some people have no clue and think it's weird or stupid. Again, the dividers are put up for privacy of the group, so ring the damn bell if you need any help and servers will hurriedly come by and ask you what you need!!!!!!!!!!!
