A great meal but......

Don't get me wrong here, we enjoyed our meal very much but the restaurant needs a lesson in plating the food. We chose the platter for two and were brought pita bread and a bowl of balsamic and oil. No plates. Then came the greek salad for me and caesar for Mary, both delicious with excellent dressings.
Our server then brought us our platter and a couple of side plates? Odd! 5 minutes after we started to eat she brought real plates with rice and potatoes. After chuckling and scraping our side plates onto the dinner plates we continued an excellent meal of calamari, lamb, chicken souvlaki and dolmades.
Other than this, the decor is very nice, the service was good and the food excellent. Still no liquor license though, on which I blame our antiquated liquor laws.
We will be back and recommend this place to others. They have only been open for 3 weeks and are still working out some wrinkles.
Not bad at all!

We have eaten here a few times now and while I can't rave about the place, I can't knock it either. The food is tasty enough, priced right for most budgets and the service is friendly and attentive. I can't ask for much more that this! We will continue to eat here when in a mood for Chinese.
A great place for lunch!

My SO and I are addicted to pho soups and have just recently moved from Poco to Maple Ridge. We tried a couple of places in the area but were disappointed and were resigned to driving back to our favorite place in Poco to get our fix until I noticed Xuan Chi.
My SO was resistant as she is quite picky about soup but I finally dragged her in for a taste test. One spoonful was all it took to win her over! The broth is great, the portions plentiful and a large bowl averages $6.00.
The decor is subdued but nice and the staff are very friendly. We have a new place to get our soup fix, just a few blocks from home. Yum! (The salad rolls are great too.)
Pho TNT2581 Mary Hill Road, #106, Port Coquitlam Review Update

Since finding this place a couple of years ago, my SO and I have been coming here once or sometimes twice a week. The pho is delicious and the service is better. We have tried a number of pho restaurants in the area but the food quality here keeps us coming back. The chicken pho uses grilled - not boiled - chicken which greatly enhances the taste.
The service is friendly and warm, even the cook comes out to schmooze with the guests from time to time. As the tables are limited, lunchtime fills up very quickly. The food is out in minutes and servers come to check on you frequently but not annoyingly so. An average pho lunch for two, with tip and tax, is under twenty dollars.
Wonderful New Restaurant

Dinakis is a welcome addition to Port Coquitlam, nice decor, great food, excellent service and a good value for the money.
I had a ribeye steak which was done to perfection and my Lady had a calamari dish that she yummed about several times. Service was prompt and we did not need to call for anyone but at the same time it was not annoying or over the top. There is a menu available on line for those who would like to look it up.
The decor is quite modern but still gives a cozy atmosphere. We'll be back again and again.
Best pizza delivery in poco

We have been ordering delivery from San Remo for many years and they always deliver a great pizza for a reasonable price. We have never had a cold or crushed delivery from them which is more than we can say for some others we have tried. We always come back here. Great people, great service and great food.
Excellent Vietnamese Food

My Lady and I wanted a Vietnamese meal so we tried Mai's and were not disappointed. We ordered an appetiser of Viet Calamari and a Mai's platter that included a Spring Roll, Salad Roll, Skewered Pork, Skewered Chicken Breast, Sugar Came Shrimp, Betel Wrapped Beef all served with Vermicelli rice and a variety of sauces. A wonderful lunch! The staff were very good, the restaurant itself was clean and nicely appointed. We will be back and often
