Oh...I forgot to mention that you won't leave broke either. Excellent value:) On a casual nite with a friend out dinner with a large beer (enough for 2ppl) was only $38 and we left feeling happily full! On another nite with 4 ppl and lots of sake, beer and food we spent about $200 incl tip. Which is really really good considering it is quite a trendy place with high quality food.

My husband and I went to Plan B for dinner and drinks last nite. The food was great! I liked ever dish that came out (order 2 or 3 per person). They was an error with our last 2 dishes....they said we already had them but we didn't. So we had to wait a while for the last dish....long enough not to want it anymore! If we had the same waitress serving us she would have known what she brought out but we had 4 servers and a hostess serving us which was really strange! We would order a drink from one server and 2 other servers would ask us if we needed another drink. Same with the food...how are you enjoying your fish? Then again by all the other servers. But the food was soooooo tasty!
Its a weird layout because the lounge and dining room are in seperate rooms....so this kinda sux if you want to stay for drinks after and you cannot enjoy the DJ spinning in the lounge or people watch. But definately good for a date! Trendy not too loud so you can still have a conversation without helling.
Overall, I would definately recommend this place for a date and again the food is the best part of this place!!! For a large party thats having drinks and hanging out for a while...I would maybe choose something a little further down the road in Yaletown. Yummmmmm I am craving lobster risotto right now..and the fish....
