Hahaha, I just had to review this place.
Firstly, cheesy decor, yes indeed. But it's typical of any Chinese restaurant. They used to have one of those pictures wherein the water moves, but it broke.
The kitchens are decent too. They make sure to use fly paper to keep the flies away from the food.
The food is good, and cheap. My family goes there EVERY week. Why? Because we get a discount, and the food's good. I DON'T recommend the shrimp dumplings. The 'skin' is thick, and falls apart way too easily. Good 'skin' is slightly chewy, and a lot thinner.
The washrooms are rather cruddy. Wobbly toilets, and doors that don't close too well. But it's kept clean, as long as the people in the stalls before you don't get the seat wet.

I usually come here around lunch time because my school is only a mere half a block away from it. This quaint little place is crowded especially at lunch, however, that doesn't stop people from dropping by. Now, personal experience, I know that they're udon is okay, and their chopped scallop roll is alright. However, their Salmon rolls are amazing! They consist of still warm rice and a healthy helping of salmon. I can say the same for their tuna rolls, avocado rolls, and basically any other rolls of the likes.
Though I think they only offer this during lunch time during school days, they do have chicken teriyaki rice. And only a limited number per day too.
I'm not a big fan of sesame seeds, but mmmmm.... they're teriyaki is just as good as their sushi.
I probably will continue to return here until I graduate.... =)
