Came here with a big group of friends for dinner, the restaurant was much bigger that I thought it was and it pretty accomadating to large groups. I was excited to come here after reading all the good reviews, I hadn't had Indian food is such a long time - I was definitely craving it.
It must have been a very slow day, as everything looked old and unappealing. I didn't end up eating very much, as most of the stuff was super oily. None of us left very happy, and we were largely ignored as I think the server could feel the negative mood radiating from our group. Which is too bad, because I'm sure he could have lighten the mood by bringing more drinks.

I use to live around the block from this restaurant, so I use to eat almost every week. After going in a few times, Aoki and his wife recognized me and my boyfriend, it's really delightful to see their faces light up when they see regulars.
The place is a bit pricer than other sushi places, but then you see the huge pieces Aoki-san cuts for nigri sushi and sashimi. Their menu is huge and they have a picture for almost every item they sell, so this place is also great for first-time sushi eaters.

Some girls and I came here for some drinks after a friend had told us about the cheap jugs. Must have raised their prices, but didn't matter, we ordered sangria instead. Delicious! Also feasted on cheap oysters (12 for $13) which were fantastic (but you can't really screw up fresh raw oysters), we will definitely will go back.
