Simply one of the best restaurant in Vancouver. The atmosphere is cozy in an Italian style. They are always packed with customers, so reservation is necessary. Of the 3 times dining at Il Giardinao, their mussels and lamb shank are my favorite. Service is great also, I really like coffee, so I ordered one after my meal. Just out of curiosity, I enquired one of the servers the brand of the coffee, and within minutes, another server brought a large coffee bag to show me! I felt special.

I was recommended by different friends about an English tea house in Kerrisdale. It turned out they were all talking about ADONIA! From the moment I stepped in until I left, it was an experience I havent had since the last time I went to England. The food was delicate, freshly made in front of your eyes, and the service was friendly and gracious. I could tell the owner must have spent a ton of time to design the tea house because every part of the store embedded details (i.e., crown malding, and antique furniture) that truly amazed me. They even use Macintosh's stereo system!
The tableware is all sterling silver and the cupsets are bone china from Royal Albert, Polygon, etc. I cant emphasize how fine their figure foods are and the way they present them.
If you love afternoon tea, coffee and fine dessert, but have never been to this place, it is definitely worth the try.
