Excellent Portuguese food with entertainment
Submitted Tuesday, January 10, 2006 - 10:47pm [Dine in]

Food: Have had breakfast/hash browns, spaghetti/meatballs, pork/clams, portuguese steak, fillet of sole, calamari, sardines, all of which were excellent. Excellent coffee, and alcohol menu.

Service: Professionally gracious, efficient, and friendly.

Ambience: Dine within picturesque Portuguese postcards, keep up with current events, and upgrade your soccer IQ here. There is also an entertainment TV, with both live and taped programs, which will most likely be glued to the world cup 2006 channel, during the upcoming summer.

Food: Have had the fish/oysters/chips/onionrings/zuchini,
all of which are very good. Perhaps the best in Vancouver.
Service: Have only taken out, and the service has always been friendly and efficient. The owner's daughter always makes sure one has all the right condiments, and all the necessities to keep your food nice and warm.

Still moist fish
Submitted Sunday, January 8, 2006 - 1:30am [Dine in]

Food: Have discovered this location is better than others, in keeping the fish still moist. Their fish samplers are a good way to try out different types of fishes. Sable and mahi are favorites.
Warm sourdough, but pre-sweetened iced tea.
Service: Professionally gracious, and efficient
Ambience: Views of English bay. They even sell apparel.

Pho Hoang Vietnamese Restaurant3388 Main Street, Vancouver
Consistently very good vietnamese food
Submitted Saturday, January 7, 2006 - 11:23pm [Dine in]

Food: My favorite is #37, which is the very good and contains generous portions of pork chop and roast chicken.
Their coffee is my favorite type here, as one can taste
a hint of chocolate. The best tasting, as I have tried coffees in
Van,Tor,Sea,SF,SJ,LA,HCM.
Service: Professionally gracious and efficient,
and they are sweet and sincere.
Ambience: Located at the corner of triangular block,
which makes a unique environment. Decorated a notch above
other vietnamese restaurants.
