Poor Customer Service!

I've been to this place numerous times with friends and families for many, many years and to be honest the food is pretty good, you get a large portion for a decent price. I do understand,as they are really busy with long line-ups, that they need to enforce the everyone-is-here-before-we-can-seat-you policy, I really do understand that! But twice, I've ventured out to this restaurant with my own family, young children in tow, leaving with quite a bitter taste in my mouth...fuming to be exact and vow to never come back again!

The hostess was outrageously rude, and she did specify that she was told to do this under management. The amount of people waiting for a table was building up in the restaurant so she told everyone to go outside and start forming a line. Fair enough! But all I did was ask if I could stay with my two young children inside as it was starting to rain that afternoon, not even disturbing the other seated customers and not even close to their tables, and this was their waiting area at the front entrance. Yet, she told me I should take my kids to the car and wait instead! WOW...I don't think I have ever come across such treatment from a restaurant...so I left for another restaurant. I didn't need to be a paying customer and be treated like that. The second time I went was already with hesitation because of that incident and certainly it was the same hostess and that poor customer service shone right through once again. There was only five tables occupied in the entire whole restaurant! My husband dropped me and my children off to get a table first and he went to find parking, and this is in the downtown area. Yet the same hostess greeted us, yet again with her poor customer service skill, extremely, extremely rude, and told us she couldn't seat us until everyone was there and told me to call my husband! That was it, I will never be subjected to such degradation and have to pay money for it. Management needs to retrain their hostesses (or it could just be this one bad apple) but the attitude needs to go!
