The long line ups is the only reason I didn't try the place sooner, but after all, it was worth the wait!
To start off, I love the Oden, especially the tamago and daikon it's cook to the right softness & flavor. The Okonomi-Yaki was my fav too, bring back the memory of eating this on the street of Tokyo years ago. Ebi-Mayo and Soba-Grill are excellent too, if you are a seafood fan! Beef-Carpaccio and Tuna-Tataki goes perfect with a bottle of cold sake in the hot summer days! Not to mention the professional chef preparing our food right in front of my eyes! It was wonderful!

Came by the Highlander restaurant as friends were staying in the Best Western Abercorn inn, surprisingly, what a pleasant experience we’ve had!
The restaurant has a charming feel to it; the light jazz music playing in the background certainly adds flair to the dining experience.
The server was friendly and lively, we have seated in the pub area where the ESPN was on so my husband – D can check the score of his favorite team.
We started with its famous English style clam chowder; it was hearty, rich and creamy.
Follow by the pork schnitzel for my meal; it was flavorful, well seasoned and paired perfectly with its lemon butter sauce. D had his favorite – prime rib, it was juicy and tender, just the way he likes it. Finally, we shared a Crème brûlée, as we were both too full to have one on our own. It was the perfect ending to our meal; I will for sure come back again!
