Turned a negative into a positive.
Submitted Sunday, December 2, 2012 - 7:49pm [Dine in]

I had my 23rd birthday here and had made a reservation earlier. When I showed up at 9pm on a Friday night I was (rudely and angrily) told by one of their managers that they did not take reservations, were full and there was nothing they could do.
Safe to say I was pretty upset, but upon explaining it was my birthday, we were miraculously found a table. After that, our server was nothing but wonderful. We were given a round of free shots and the food we ordered was pretty good, not to mention everything was reasonably priced.

I am just glad they were able to get me a table and accommodate us, otherwise this review would have been very negative.

This place is great for a myriad of reasons
1) Cheap wing specials on wednesdays with AWESOME wings
2) Cheap food specials
3) Cheap drinks
4) Huge portions.

I love it. Food is always great, service is good, and I've never had a bad experience. It's cold inside during the winter so bring a sweater if you're going for dinner.

Better than sushiyama
Submitted Thursday, April 12, 2012 - 8:47pm [Dine in]

My boyfriend and I tried this place out after we were fed up with sushi yama. I must say, I really like it. It's a bit pricier but the service is always prompt. The people are friendly and seem to care about you as opposed to other places who see you as a $ sign. The food has always been good for what I've ordered, but I don't order crazy rolls. Usually always packed. Smaller like a traditional japanese sushi restaurant. Attentive to tea refills which is great.

Pretty decent for the price

I've been here a few times and I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience. The food is pretty standard for what you pay for, service is alright and the atmosphere is alright. 2 for 1 appies m-f and drink specials every night of the week = a pretty cheap / decent evening out.

I would recommend it if you are just looking for a casual place to grab some drinks and dinner with some friends.. it's definitely not anything fancy.

We came once before and ended up leaving very impressed as it was close to midnight and they still had full food service and were very attentive. So when the groupon came out I just had to buy it! Or so I thought.

There was seriously ONE GIRL WORKING for about 12 tables and she was the bartender, hostess, waitress. wtf? Who is the manager of this place? You run a promotion and have one person working? There was a fly in our water (we also got drinks but water to start) and it took her 10 minutes to get a new one. Seriously what the!! The food that arrived was good.. we had the gluten free pizza which was awesome because we both have a slight gluten intolerance.

Finally some other dude showed up and things got better, we ordered a desert which was brought to us right away and such... I would go for the food but don't go if you want speedy service.

Worst service I've ever had
Submitted Sunday, October 3, 2010 - 12:41pm [Take-out]

After working next door to this place for over a year and a half I felt I HAD to leave a comment.

Seriously everytime I order over the phone they are exceptionally rude and hang up half the time before I've ever completed my order. They never give enough soy sauce (seriously 1 packet for 18 pieces?) and then complain when I ask for more. The few times I have dined in they've been rude and never come to ask if I want more tea or water! I've tried to boycott this place several times but they are so convenient and their food is cheap.

Do not go here if you don't have to as you will be shocked with the atrocious customer service you will receive!

A typical Granville resturaunt

This place sucks, flat out. I believe it was taken over by new owners around 2 years ago and has been going down hill ever since. The service is usually horrible and I have had to wait around an hour between sitting down and being fed. The wings are a rip off. 8 dollars for a pound are you kidding me? For a place that specializes in wings one would think they would have special deals. But they really don't. Unless you get the 39 cent wing specials from 2-5pm daily. There are places around the mainland where you can get 10 cent wings on certain days which even taste better. They are usuaally having some problem with their beer and the tvs are way too small to enjoy a good game on.

I was there last week as most of my friends enjoy the place and the chicken strips were soft not crispy, the bun for our mini burgers tasted freezer burnt and my burger had bacon on it even though I asked for it not to.

Probably will return again (by no choice of my own)

What happened?
Submitted Tuesday, January 5, 2010 - 6:17pm [Dine in]

This place used to be a great deal. Monday and Tuesday nights a burger and a brew for $10 which is pretty hard to find these days in Vancouver. My mother and I went in one night for the special and we both said " Can we have the burger and beer special." We ate and what not and when our bill came it was over $35. We were really confused and found out the special no longer exists. They hadn't passed along the message either which was really frustrating. We tried going back another time just for some quick lunch but were again disappointed. The server was busy talking to the bartender and we noticed our food waiting on the hot plate for at least 5 minutes when it was brought to us. It wasn't even that hot anymore.

Such a shame as about 6 or 7 months ago this place was a real treat. It appears that a new manager may have taken over?

Great sandwiches!
Submitted Tuesday, January 5, 2010 - 6:12pm [Dine in]

I work in the area and often order a lunch to eat during my break at several resturaunts in the area. I was highly impressed with sejuiced as you can get a really filling sandwich and bowl of soup for about $8. Not to mention how healthy they are. I am not too sure about the overall atmosphere of the place as I have never eaten it. However, was very impressed with the food and freshness of even a chai tea latte.
