I bought a groupon deal and took the girlfriend for dinner.
Azteca soup was fantastic, so were the tacos. First time trying mole, it was very savoury.
Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, I couldnt ask for more. Wine list is very limited but the sangrias were great (made in house)
It was all peachy until, we got the bill...
We were charged $2.50 + $.50 for extra chipotle sauce and torittas WTF?
I dont like being nickled and dimed, I feel bit cheated.
Regardles, overall it was a satisfying experience. I will be going back.
Add more wines to the wine list!!!!
Ambiance is fantastic, great place to take a date. The fish for sashimi/nigiris/rolls are really fresh they are the gem of the restaurant. Avoid the teriyakis and boring noodles. Avoid the bento crap, waste of money.
Bathrooms could be cleaner. Nice place for a drink and some sashimi. Service was fantastic, free appies from our server :D
TV's ... really?
Otherwise solid place to go
The food wasn't incredible but our waitress was very friendly and it made the whole experience a little more enjoyable. We had couple of burgers for brunch and they were good.
There was a small line up and it was worth it. The diner atmosphere is inviting.
I think it's a solid choice for brunch. It was a memorable experience.
My first impressions of Gyoza King was a cheap and cheerful. The restaurant has character and the food is better than your average izakaya.
Despite what the name of restaurant, the gyozas were just okay. They actually tasted store-bought rather than homemade. Of all the food I ordered, Beef Yaki Udon and Ebi Mayo were my favorite.
The mood is dim, cozy, casual which is great for drinking. However, it is difficult to get comfortable, due to small tables and chairs.
It does not have a hip/modern vibe. Think more Guu rather than Hapa
Gyoza King is a unpretentious, casual, Japanese Izakaya good for drinking sake & beer over delicious tapas.
Highly Recommended
I tried the couple of pastas and burgers, they were just decent. You can actually taste the lack of good ingredients and homemade cooking.
Wings nights are on Thursdays and Sundays, and they are good & cheap.
The service is okay, some understaffed nights can leave you frustrated.
I recommend this pub to people who want to eat wings for cheap. Other items on the menu should be avoided.
The ambiance is great for enjoying a few drinks with tapas. There are private rooms you go in without your shoes. The ambiance is very Korean/Japanese
The robatas from the grill are all very good as are the rice dishes.
The service is friendly although they are understaffed on the weekends.
Red Devils is a good example of what a Korean izakaya should be: affordable, no frills izakaya for enjoying a bottle of soju with friends.
There is a wide selection of very cheap and delicious dimsums. Spent $22 for 2 and we were stuffed. Shrimp dumpling, rice rolls are great. Its always busy for brunch and for good reasons.
Service is okay, no particular bad experience.
If you looking for a filling dimsum brunch that wont empty your pocket go to Rainbow Butterfly.
Chicken Genoves w/ fettuccine is unbelievable. Calamari is good as well. Portions are big. Sometimes they overcook the pasta, especially the whole wheat/spinach.
Wine Wednesdays are great for cheap wines by the bottle
Service was quick, friendly.
Definitely better than Anducci, Pasta Polo is a solid family restaurant.
BBQ was outstanding. The sushi was fresh and delicious.I was surprised they served toro sushi as well. Service was also solid for an "all you can eat". Mind you they charge 10% of your bill as "service charge", so you do not have to tip them.
You can really get your money's worth if you are hungry.
Definitely going back for lunch.
