Previously known as the Tree Rock Brew House, this Guildford neighborhood pub has re-opened under a new name with new management. We thought we'd go by to check it out, have dinner and watch some UFC. First of all, the hand written sign taped to the front door "Cash Only" was the first indication of how poorly things are run there. The menu was very limited, your usual burgers, chicken wings and nachos. No thought went into the menu whatsoever. We just ordered the hot wings, and most of the bones were broken. (Looks like they are getting their food supply from a cheap source?)After two drinks & wings, the waitress brought us a bill & asked us to pay. It was a handwritten piece of scrap paper with some math on it. She told us their computer was down. (they have a computer?) We had to wait up to 20 minutes for more drinks, and then she brings us another scrap piece of paper and asks us to pay again. By then we were fed up with the crappy food, crappy service and the tacky requests for cash payments. We didn't end up eating dinner there, and left before the main events were shown. Won't be going back to that hole again.

We've been to this restaurant only once before, and always wanted to go back. The food portions are generous, the atmosphere is unique, the service is great, and the drinks are cheap! We drove all the way from Guildford to Ladner just to eat at this great little restaurant. My husband ordered the rib special and we were shocked at how large the serving was. The plate was piled high with ribs, too many to count. I had the pulled pork sandwich - it was delicious, and the barbecue sauce was very tasty! The coleslaw was fresh made and nice and creamy. We'll be back for sure, even though it's abit out of the way for us.
