Roas's is like sitting in your Nona's kitchen......you feel like family as soon as you walk into her quaint little jem of a restaurant!
And what is mistaken by some people as rudeness, is just their way of treating you just like they would treat any one of their family members. Rosa definitely plays it straight, says it how it is, but it is all done with a touch of underlying Love. ( Which happens to be the special ingredient that Rosa's mother puts into every dish that comes out of that little kitchen!) The food is to die for! Homemade italian cooking at its best! I would absolutely recommend Rosa's to anyone either already living here or anyone visiting Vancouver.
