The service is ehh. When the waitress was taking our orders... she didn't listen very well. My friend said "yaki udon" and the waitress was like "yaki soba." without a "?" sound at the end, and my friend had to correct her. It also took a very long time for the waitress to refill our tea cups... and also a very long time to grab her attention to get the bill since she was helping a customer wanting to take out for 20 minutes.

Food was not that good... for my friends. They all ordered some type of udon, whether it be in soup, or fried. The beef in the yaki udon was over cooked.. and so were the udons in the soup. I however was smart and did not order noodles.. and rather sushi because they had special sushi to try from. I ordered the Pink roll, it wasn't amazing.. but it also wasn't bad.

Cute Pearl Tea House2130 W 40th Ave, Vancouver
cute pearl

Cute Pearl is amazingly stingy on the napkins. When you order food, they give you ONE little thin square to wipe your face with. You're lucky if they give you two.

Bubble tea is quite expensive. Usually 4 bucks a drink, and to add pearls I think you have to fork up another dollar. But I think their bubble tea is good, way better than bbt cafe. But still, adding pearls for a dollar is expensive.

Some seats to the tables are dirty... kinda gross if I'm wearing shorts and sitting on their chairs. They also have one unisex bathroom... which is kinda gross. The floors are sticky.. with probably urine.. and kinda dark in there.

Suga Sushi Japanese Restaurant5728 University Boulevard, #201, Vancouver
Meh

Suga is a Korean owned Japanese restaurant. And when seated, they give you the strangest looking tea. It's really dark brown. My friend and I ask for water instead, so they give us water but then they didn't take our tea cups away...

I don't really try the sushi cause it's runned by Koreans, and I rather eat real sushi from a real Japanese restaurant. So i've ordered some udons. They're okay, portions arent too small nor too big. I've also tried the Kimchi fried rice. The portion was a good value for the price. I think most things are fair in price compared to the portion sizes.

Service is terrible though. I've been to this place atleast 10 times within the last year. There were times when we've asked for the bill, and it never showed up. So we had to keep asking.. and finally it would come 15 minutes later.

BBT Cafe5979 West Boulevard, Vancouver
service is terrible.

The service is pretty bad at BBT cafe. They're practically prejudice against the youth. I noticed that the waiters would often deliver cups of tea to the more 'elderly' crowd and whenever my friends and i would eat there, we never got tea without us asking for it. I also recall an incident that happened last summer that made me not want to go into BBT cafe for a long time. One day i went to order a take out drink, and i ordered an almond milk tea with pearls. I waited for 5-10 mins for my drink to be ready. But there was this green drink that was made on the counter. It wasnt mine, and the drink maker asked me what i ordered. Then the waitress who served me earlier walked by and told me that the drink was mine. I said i ordered almond milk tea, but she said i ordered mint milk tea. And practically started scolding me that i wasn't speaking loud enough when i was ordering. So in the end, i was too afraid to go back to BBT cafe for a few months because she'd probably spit in my drink or something, or give me even worse service.
