Our Town Cafe245 E Broadway, Vancouver
Good coffee, good paninis, irritating clientele.

I love the coffee at Our Town, and I love the way it's served: water seperate, so yuo can add as much as you want, or as little as you want. The paninis are very good. No complaints there. The decor is functional. Some of you mentioned it's like a Parisian cafe. Not sure what part of Paris you have been to, but it doesn't look anything like a Parisian cafe. It self-consciously is styled after a typical "bohemian" west coast cafe, complete with old piano. It's charming, don't get me wrong.

The staff do their job, they are polite, nice, and all that. The clientele are annoying. This place has more Macbooks than the Apple store and it's crawling with hipsters. The annoying type that usually are from Barrie, Ontario or someplace that youth run from in order to live in the "big city." Not the type of hipster that likes music, or reads, but the kind that twitters or blogs every five seconds and spends a long time in the morning get ready, just to look like they didn't spend a long time in the morning getting ready.
