We were going here every 2 weeks for a couple months. We love the food. I found the ambience to be a bit too classy for my liking. Candles, table cloths, stem ware, and they keep turning the lights down for a 'romantic' feeling I guess. I think I'd just rather it be more casual since I'm eating with my hands.
The last two times we went the service was unthinkably horrible. One time, the cook was all by herself, cooking AND serving, with a full house of customers. The second time it took over an hour and a half to get our food. And multiple times our order has been wrong, even though we order the same thing every time.
Since the bad service we have started going to the Ethiopian place up on 12th and Commercial. The food is 'almost' as good as Harambe, but the service is WONDERFUL!
I like going here since I have a young child. It's nice to have a relaxed atmosphere and space for a child to play.
The food is pretty good, I crave the marble toast. Coffee is bad.
I think the place really needs an upheaval for decorating, and cleaning, but I'll still go back even if they don't. I like the place but its definatly not for everyone. I brought my mom and aunt and it really wasn't their cup of tea.
We went here last week and had some of the best curries ever. Sadly for us, their takeout feature is VERY successful and we had to wait about 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food while tons was traveling out the door.
Once we got our food we were in heaven. We brought kids and they were definatly getting antsy after an hour of waiting, we will be doing takeout next time.
This food is a great addition to our neighborhood, maybe they can get more kitchen staff so their in-house patrons don't wait as long.
