Not so good.

It's just there for "cheap food" in front of BCIT, otherwise i went with my dad and it was one of the worst places for asian food. the food was starchy and noodles were crusty in soup. The bubbletea drinks were starchy too! The beef was not number 1. It was pasty and old.
The service was subpoor, slow and inhumane. And the paint felt like it was peeling, yet it was brand new.

Didn't like it at all.

The restaurant is definately family owned, but once you take you're seat, you feel comfortable, just like home. TVs surround the interior walls, so watching the game is definately fitting and the food as well are great to enjoy. The traditional Canadian food is handsomely made and has a great lasting impression. As a Hastings resident, this is a great place to be.

Im not sure what to say. Uhm... Oh, I know. Let's start off with..

The building in which this "restaurant" seems to be encased in just screams to be smashed into rubble, as the neighbouring empty lot nudges in agreement. The atmosphere was very.. ghastly. It felt very dry, having colous that resided on dulling portraits and sunburnt wall paints.

While I attempted to stay sane from from the incredibly 30 minute wait for my food to arrive, I was deeply surprised that quite a number of what seemed like 'regulars' ordered take out from them.

The food is unbelievably dissatisfying and expensive. What I was most shocked with was that they served it on plates the size of a baby's fist. Sadly, quality did not reflect upon the quantity. I deeply considered licking the incredibly saline dish clean to wonder if I'd get fulfilled. I cried (inside) with sadly. I could feel myself withering away... Why must you torture this hungry man? Why must I pry my 40$ from the grapples of my wallet? It told me to run away.. please it pleaded, please..

I had to go to Sophie's (also on 4th) with my girlfriend that same night..

Thai Yummy? Please. I could drink a cup of Stanley Park sea water that would satisfy me more than this place. (I also know the health risk of sea water, and you can also take that as criticism as you wish, but they are sanitary)

If you have managed to accept this review, avoid this restaurant at ALL COSTS, as their are many other BETTER restaurants along 4th. You may consider this at your own cost, but I'd just run far away from this place as possible. Far! FARTHER! KEEP GOING! ...

From the hungriest person to the romantics, This is a must-go restaurant for avid pasta hoarders. The proportions were large and beautiful. As a server started walking in with two plates (one for me and my girlfriend), it started to feel like a plate of the best, hand-picked fruit in all of Rome just for me, Caesar.
Oddly, though their proportions were huge, I still managed to finished one and a half plates of their pasta. Did not have to eat for two full days..

*Food rating was not a 5 due to the unenjoyable taste of the Pesto penne.
*Service is slow, but makes up for the atmosphere.
