Always Just Slightly Off
Submitted Thursday, August 26, 2010 - 10:24am [Dine in]

I like the Orange Room. It's got a variety of seating options: a bar, by the fireplace, high tables for a casual chat, big tables for groups. The menu is ambitious.
The thing is that every time I go something just doesn't seem right. Like they are always busy and "in the shit". It has been re opened now for a year or so and their staff has never seemed to "click". Some people say I have too high expectations of service but in this economy if I'm paying for it I want it attentive, calm and friendly.
The food is always good but expensive. My boyfriend is picky but he was pleased with his meal. Paying $2.50 for one link of sausage (although it was organic chicken sausage and VERY good) left a bad taste in my mouth.
We will go back and try again but I wish I left with a more content feeling each time I go.

So Disappointing

I really want to enjoy coming to this pub! I keep giving it chances but it always lets me down.
Now that the annoying bartender and the best waitress in the place have left they have replaced them with more incompetent servers. I get the feeling they act so rude and service takes so long so that people will stop going.
Foods not bad though...And the patios have a nice view of the river. Just be prepared to wait for food and drinks.
