(3.2) (4) (2) (3.7) (2)This has to be the best coffee place on Denman and yet I resist going in there because the staff are so surly and unfriendly if you are not a young, cute, guy that is... I hope that changes as I am always polite and nice when I go to have a coffee and find I am met with less than friendliness and I always say please and thank you! Seriously it stops me going there - and many of the local westenders too.. Shame.
This is one of the best places to get a slice of pizza - always fresh, thin crust, with nice friendly service and either $2.50 or $3.00 a slice. I would recommend their spinach & Feta, Mushroom or Pepperoni all so good and unlike other thicker based pizzas really easy to digest. I highly recommend - leave some for me though!
This is a great little local sushi place where their sushi is worth the slightly disconnected service! I would recommend the black rice sushi it is delicious and a healthier version to the usual white or even brown rice sushi. Their Akira special of salmon and cream cheese is delicious but certainly more of a treat!
