going back
Submitted Sunday, August 21, 2011 - 9:46pm [Dine in]

My family wanted a weekend breakfast a neighbor had mentioned "coming home" we did not feel like ihop or the waffle house since ownership change...(yuk)
did we ever luck out at the "coming home"
we have a 20 month old and a four year old.
we ordered 2 poached eggs pancakes sausage bacon the kick ass coffee toast x 2
and also scrambled eggs and toast for the kids
when the order came which did not take long we were over the moon
besides no booster or high chairs for the kids (which they are working on so no worries)
it was a great time had by all at a reasonable price.
after we paid the tab the server gave my 2 kids kids freezies and they were huge!!
next weekend we are going for the eggs benny!!
this restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a welcome addition to new westminster
the competition is heating up and for new westminster thats a good thing!!
WARNING! this is not your average breakfast place it has mojo!!

The Waffle House Mystery
Submitted Monday, November 1, 2010 - 7:11pm [Dine in]

The mystery has been solved new owners have taken over the place and sadly the difference is tragic and hard not to see.Now it is just another "place" delivering the standard fair no waffling about this.My wife ordered poached eggs and the waffles my 3 year old had the waffles.....i had the "special" oh yes ."eggs benny"probably the worst ever and the wait was also 'special".Now believe me im not a fussy eater I dont write reviews and I will eat anything......even as in this case if I regret it later. One thin slice of ham usually you get one on each english muffin. In this case the english muffins had no butter...maybe that was extra............... m the eggs were normal I think... but the hollandiase sauce was the weirdest color I have ever seen.pouch fair I assume.cheap yet effective.A waffle is a waffle lets be honest if you want to save money buy a waffle iron.
It is with great sadness I admit defeat goodbye "waffle house" hello "waffle PLACE".
