It's ok but....
Submitted Thursday, August 28, 2008 - 11:00am [Dine in]

I popped in here with my fiancee after having dined at a nearby restaurant. The photographed menu looks great until you realise that half of it has a big red SOLD OUT scrawled over it. If they're sold out, why don't they just order more? Seriously, I couldn't believe how much was unavailable. Anyway, the service was fine though not outstanding by any means. When we finally agreed on a dessert to share that was available it was very tasty. The cafe itself has glass walls which is great if you're looking over a beautiful lake but the sea of cars in the carpark outside Walmart is not the greatest view to me. I will probably go back if I'm shopping in the area but I hope they restock their supplies by then.

Loved it!!!

I went to Anducci's last night and loved it! Upon arrival there were no tables available so we sat at the bar for 10minutes or so and had a drink. The bartender was really friendly, as was the lady who greeted us at the front door. The waitress we had was really friendly and in no way did she throw the food on the table... maybe we were just lucky but I found the service fabulous. I ordered the crab filled tortellini with the Pesci Pesci sauce which had the most divine smoked salmon and prawns in a pink sauce (tomato with a dash of cream). My fiancee had the meat filled tortellini with a tomato and italian sausage sauce which he devoured. I couldn't finish mine as the servings are so generous, but doggy bags are no problem so I get to finish it off for lunch today (yum)! The menu itself has heaps of variety and a humorous personal touch. I've only been in Canada for 2 months and this is by far the best restaurant I've been to here. There's an upstairs area to the restaurant which I assume can be used for private functions and I will definitely be booking that sometime in the future. The bill came to only $40 and we left very full and extremely satisfied. I can't wait to go back. I know I'm raving a bit but the last 2 restaurants I've been to in Vancouver have been awful so this was a very pleasant surprise.

Will never go back here...

Food: Way below average. Tried the saganaki for the entree and could not eat more than a mouthful. Had the vegetarian greek platter for a main and it was really uneventful. The dolmades were bland; the salad was covered in way too much cheese; the spinach pie tasted like something you could buy in a supermarket freezer; the rice was good.
Service: It was decent service but not outstanding in any way.
Value: When you have to force yourself to eat the food, the value is obviously not there, regardless of the price.
Ambience: There's a bar area, tables and booths. It was ok but honestly, anything that may have been good about the atmosphere was completely overshadowed by the food.
