We were shocked and appalled at the rudeness shown to us just minutes after dropping over $22 for bubble tea. We ordered four bubble teas after picking a family member up from YVR. We all wanted to get a cool drink and enjoy listening to details of his trip over bubble teas. After receiving our drinks at the counter we sat down to look at photos and hear the stories when one of the girls from behind the counter advised us that we had ordered take out drinks and must take them out and we could not stay in the restaurant.
The place was virtually empty with the exception of a couple of tables way off in the back. It wasn't like the place was teeming with business anyway and it was exceptionally rude and offensive to ask customers who had just patronized a business to leave. I would also think that they would want people to stay to at least give other passersby that maybe they're busy instead of nearly empty. This is an epic fail in both customer service and just plain decency. The tea was okay but not worth having to be treated so offensively. We won't be going back.
