(2.8) (3.3) (2.3) (2.7) (3)I have been to Aristos at least 3 times and I just can't get over the unfriendly/rude service. The food has been fine with good portions for the price. The moussaka was good. They also have nice calamari. It has been my experience that my patronage wasn't appreciated or welcomed - it is very strange. If you are desperate for Greek food in Lynn Valley you can try it but you may have the same experience with the service.
My favourite local pub (with a few complaints...) The food is really great - I like almost every item on the menu. Good burgers, wings, nice salads and great yam fries. My major complaint is the wait. Be prepared to wait on a Friday or Saturday night to get a table. Sometimes, when it is just 2 of us we have to wait a long time (or we give up). Service is usually good but they are so busy!
Nice ambiance and I'm glad there is no more smoking on the patio.
Took the gondola up Grouse- approx. 8 mins up. and a little nerve-wracking for someone afraid of heights. Unfortunately, it was clouding over and there was no view to be had at the dinner. Appy of nachos was plentiful and tasty. Had a BLT with avocado (they had no avocado so they substituted guacamole...?) - quite good. Side sallad was disppointing. Attentive service but the food was really just average - and sadly, no view that day.
