Not a bad place to get bubble tea. I come here every week or so. The interior of the store is comfy and welcoming, with couches in the center. Washroom was clean! Ambiance ranges from quiet to bustling depending on the time of day. The bubble tea quality can be inconsistent at times when it's busy (and the pearls sometimes run out). The workers are pretty nice about it if you want your drink remade.
The store hours definitely need to be extended.

Overall - good value, good ambiance, friendly staff.

Dropped in with the boyfriend on a weekday afternoon for the first time to give this restaurant a try. I was surprised to see the restaurant filled. Good sign.

I ordered the nagasaki champon and the boyfriend had the miso ramen set that came with a rice ball and gyoza. I got a really big bowl of noodles and it smelled so goooood! I had a hard time finishing it, but I eventually did. There was a lot of vegetables and some seafood in noodles. The miso soup ramen was deeelish!

I know I will be coming back - probably during their off peak hours.

Having walked by the restaurant many times, I decided to give it a try after hearing some good things from my coworkers. I came in with a group of 5 and was given two tables. The waitress who served my party was extremely gracious throughout the evening.

The beef yakisoba and the chicken udon were nothing to write home about - tastes about the same everywhere I go. We also ordered the BBQ salmon belly (yummy!), takoyaki, chopped scallop hand rolls, curry beef bowl, sushi, and wild salmon sashimi. As another reviewer observed, the sashimi was a tad pricey ($7 for 5 thick pieces) but the quality of fish was excellent.

We ordered two desserts: the taiyaki (fish shaped waffle with a red bean paste filling) and the ice cream mitsumame? (ice cream over fruits and coconut jelly). The taiyaki dessert was definitely a no for me. The waffle was too chewy. I was expecting a liquid red bean center, but it was dry.. Yuck.

It may lack some ventilation and ambiance, but I know I will be stopping by to satisfy my takoyaki cravings!
