The menu is way too expensive. Service is horrid. And what's with the competitor's tv commercials playing in the background?
Ok, so first - It's a sandwich, not gourmet or anything fancy, just your common run of the mill sandwich that you can make at home.
I wanted to try this place as I work in Yaletown and sometimes you just want a regular meal, as most in Yaletown are quite fancy as far as lunch menu's go.
BUT....I can get something gourmet in Yaletown for what I pay for a regular sandwich here. My meal was a turkey sandwich and fries for $15.00
PLUS you have to pay ALOT for any sides...c'mon!
Fries are never cooked, and a very small amount for the $4....plus they use two separate containers for take out, and the containers are made from Styrofoam!?!...again, c'mon! Ever heard of doing your part to save the environment....ridiculous
And we come to the best part - the service. I feel like I'm shopping for bargain discount cloths a the Garage when I go here...no eye contact, no thanks, no "would you like a bag?".... I'm at the register ordering my food, and the little girl or boy on the other side is yelling with other co-workers, talking about the newest movie or their Friday night party...then, they yell your name out and throw your food on the side counter and don't even wait for you to come get it, because after all they have a party to talk about. All this, while Subway commercials are playing at an overly loud volume on the huge flat screen tv that's not even positioned for any customers to see it properly.
Decor is ok...if you like eating in a warehouse.
I tried it twice, to give it a chance. Won't ever go again mainly because of the service
