I took my wife and son to the New West Boathouse for Mother's Day.

What a mistake.

The buffet was terrible...

They were constantly out of items such as the Eggs Benedict and when it was available, they were dried out and rubbery.

The dessert area did not have any real selection of fruit except for a bowl full of chopped watermelon and other melons that were waterlogged.

For $35 /person, it was a waste of money.

My wife was terribly disappointed and began quite upset when she realized how much I had spent.

She phoned and complained and was assured that a gift certificate would be in the mail as an apology. After 3 weeks with no mail, she phoned again and was given the royal brush off by the manager that she spoke to.

We have gone there a number of times for brunch in the past but will not waste our time and money again.
