(4) (4) (3) (2.7)I started with a nice frosty pint. The soup (hearty and good,just like mums and grandmas) wow very good. Now for the best part: The Chicken Shnitzel with sauteed mushrooms and melted swiss cheese! the sauteed mushrooms are indescribably delicious, oh yeah and the chicken is very tender. Hardley greasy as the previous guy mentioned. Also, the price is freakin awsome for the GIANT portions. I will be back and reserve some room for dessert : )
Due to the construction on Davie/Pacific I happedned to come across this place. I never knew it was there. However, I am very glad to have finally found a place for a decent homecooked meal. The priceing is great. I am a big fan of the Mexican orange pop glad to know i can get my fix! Great stuff. I ordered the Azteca Soup-such great smokey flavours,spicy,crunchy and comforting. The Pabellon Criollo was delicious-nice and tender beef. The Arepas are also a nice little snack. The owners were very nice and the service was indeed solid since there was only 1 server. I will definetly be ordering take-out at least once/week.
The abmiance though decent is actually awkward. I wasnt to keen on the view. The layout of the restraunt is crowded, and not in the intimate way. Servers were kind, polite decent- thought it was obvious they are understaffed. The entrees were not disappointing nor spectacular. Not the place to go for a special occasion.
