Great Place
Submitted Thursday, August 14, 2008 - 3:54pm [Dine in]

I went here at around noon time and it was noticeably busy. However, I was seated promptly in around 5 minutes. There is a Plasma TV in the middle of the dining area, so that's always a plus.

I ordered a simple burger and it arrived quickly. It was tasty and the special sauce make it taste great.

The servers were friendly and smiling and this was a pleasant lunch.

Good for you White spot!

I went there with my friends again and it was a great experience once again! If you frequent there a lot, like I do, you'll get treated with respect like a boss or a celebrity.

Oh just to clarify from the previous reviewer, the smalls are $2.25 (and that includes 3 egg tarts), mediums are $3.25 and larges are $3.75. But I think these prices are justified as the quality of the ingredients are fresh and bigger.

For example, I went to Floata for dinner and I noticed that the shrimps that they used were tiny little baby shrimps. This was nothing compared to the shrimps in the hagao and the shrimp rice roll.

Anyways, it's better to go with more people as you get to sample more dishes that way. I had 7 people with me and the total came to about $76 with tip.

We had so much food that we couldn't finish it all and had to doggy pack it.

Healthy Pho
Submitted Thursday, August 14, 2008 - 3:39pm [Dine in]

The pho here was pretty healthy compared to other pho places. The MSG content was quite low and the pho arrived promptly on time.

It's not that business there, so it might be lonely eating if you are not with company.

The condiments are fresh and crispy. So that's a good plus.

Overall, I would recommend this place if you go eat pho a lot on a weekly basis, since this is one of the more healthier options.

Pass

Went there for dinner, typical set course meal. Nothing too fancy. Chicken was somewhat dry. But I would give this a pass. The dishes were somewhat oily and it would have been better to reduce this oil content.

Food is decent. Waitress did not seem friendly. Just got us the doggy bags and made us pack the meal.

I liked the building that it is in though. It is very large and nice. Great place for a wedding.
