(3) (3) (2.5) (3.5)My husband and I have dined many many times over the past 11 years at the Bedford House and have yet to be disappointed. The service and food are ALWAYS excellent. Without fail, I always have the rack of lamb....beyond delicious. My husband always has the catch of the day. We have taken his employees there for Christmas party suppers and have been treated like royality. The only place I have dreams about.
After reading all the other reviews I guess we must have had the only unprofessional server in the restaurant. It is now 3 weeks since my husband and I were there for supper, obviously I am still annoyed. It was not busy at 5:00 on a Sunday evening and the service was terrible. I asked for a medium steak, it was "blue"....really didn't want to send it back as who knows what happens to it then. Besides another server brought the bread and our meals to us as our server was very busy yakking with friends sitting at another table. My husbands pasta was only barely warm.....looked like all the other servers were quite professional.... I had 2 glasses of wine with my supper and the bill was over eighty dollars. For that money I will patronize a restaurant that treats their customers with courtesy.
