I had a nice dinner at this nice Indian restaurant. It's a great place for friends to get together. But the portion is a bit small. And the dish doesn't come with s staple. You need to order rice or bread as well. There are many very good Indian restaurants in Vancouver. I think the portions or prices should be adjusted given there are so much competition in Vancouver. In general, not bad.
I went to Libby's for brunch on a Saturday morning. It's nice and quiet. The ambiance is calm, perfect for a relaxing Saturday morning. The food is good, but the portion is too small. A breakfast meal doesn't fill up that much, and doesn't last until dinner. The brunch choices are limited too. Overall, it's a great place in the neighbourhood. It would be even better if there can be more choices, or even having the option to add a small soup/salad with the breakfast
The fish(cod) is great (I substitute salad for the fries). Nice and crispy, and perfect batter. Would go back for the fish & chips. It's nice to have the option to substitute fries with chowder or salad. The coleslaw (came with the fish) was way too heavy. The veggies are soaked in the dressing. My friend had the seafood pasta. The pasta was substandard (at least for the price). Should probably stick with the fish & chips.
The service is so-so. But the view is super.
