WaaZuBee's has been a long standing favorite of mine out on Commercial drive. Really great food, great coffee, great drinks, cool music playing, with live DJs on the weekend nights, but now when I go by there, it has the big "For Sale / For Lease" sign up on the window. I don't know what happened to it, but like what happens to many of my favorite restaurants, it's suddenly gone. All of us on Commercial will miss you, WaaZuBees... I guess we'll just have to go to your cousin downtown.

I've been there twice now, once for dinner, and once for brunch, and there were some outstanding parts of each. The brunch they have was really fantastic, one of the best brunches I've had in a long time. Really great style to the foods, really tasty, and a good price. We ate out on the patio, which is a nice, quiet location overlooking the seawall, all the way to downtown. We had eaten dinner there a few nights before, and the ambiance of the restaurant was great, nice and cozy, great classic music playing, but the food wasn't very good, fairly generic, and not the best tasting.
I'd say, go there for brunch, because it's really fantastic, but only for dinner if it's an awesome, warm night and you're just looking for something simple.
