this is a Greek salad?
Submitted Thursday, September 6, 2012 - 10:36pm [Dine in]

My mom an I went to Andreas for supper, I ordered a Mediterranean steak medium with a Greek salad my mom ordered lamb. My Greek salad consisted of lettuce and peppers a few old olives and the blandest feta cheese I have ever had. My steak was cooked perfect too bad I couldn't enjoy it due to the barbecue sauce that it was smothered in, tons of rice very bland . My mother's meal was much the same. The first table we were placed at had such terrible lighting we asked to be moved, the next we had was beside a table that had a partition between us, we ended up listening to an older guy trying to whoo one of his staff. Too close for comfort. On top of that we had a counter near us that the staff dumped all the dirty dishes on , I wondered why they would leave a growing pile of dirty dishes right there in the dining room? The whole time we were there no one bothered to remove the dishes. Even if I was offered a free meal there I would never go back.

Bad Birthday
Submitted Tuesday, August 21, 2012 - 10:56pm [Dine in]

I took my mom and niece with my son to Monks for a birthday dinner. The place is in desperate need of a reno, the waitress was indifferent. My mom ordered lobster, there was little meat in the claw which was stuffed with mashed potato, my niece's bouil-la-baisse was bland, the scallops were hard. I ordered the hamburger no sooner had the waitress put it in front of me when she suddenly whisked it away, the cook forgot to put the hamburger patty in the bun! No apology, the 18% automatic tip is a rip off and not worth a single penny. Never again. Run away from this place... as fast as you can.

creepy chef
Submitted Sunday, May 13, 2012 - 11:22pm [Dine in]

The food was good for our Mothers day meal, the servers were attentive and friendly. The decor is in desperate need of a makeover. The wall paper in the entry way was way too" grandma's house" We could look past the wall paper what made us uncomfortable was the chef. My mother went to use the washroom only to find the chef standing by the bathroom door. then he opened the door for her. When she came out of the bathroom the chef was still standing by the door., blocking the hallway. Later on we saw the chef run out into the street and start yelling at a young man and swearing at him. the young man looked shocked and uncomfortable. We wondered what the chef was doing chasing down people in the street , who was cooking the food? Bizarre behaviour I won't go back.
