Not too sure...and a little scared why there is only 1 review on this place, but went there this morning for breakfast. Totally awesome service!!! The lady (can't remember her name unfortunately) looked like she has been service customers of Maple Ridge for a while now and she had it down to a T. Super smiles right from the start on the coffee and drinks the whole time we were there. We were able to get a corner seat, good thing since my nephew was screaming at the top of his lungs. That didn't stop the service being amazing and the fact that we were there for almost 2 hrs! She kept on coming around to ask us if we wanted any top up on the coffee's and juice/water for the kid. The food wasn't anything special but I definitely had to speak to the service. Totally surprised. To be honest we were going to go to Home Rest. beside it but its was too busy :s but im glad we changed our direction. Place is totally worth it. Hopefully the other staff there were as good as her. Quality/Quantity of food on par with all other places in Maple Ridge.

Thumbs up to Delivery
Submitted Sunday, January 20, 2013 - 12:10am [Delivery]

Had delivery tonight for the first time from these guys. I've had the food many times before but this was the first time trying out the service. Food was fantastic as usual although I could tell it had been sitting for at least 20 or so minutes, but its delivery. I guess that's expected. Driver was a little grumpy and short with me, but staff at the store over the phone very helpful. I've satisfied the craving and had to share. Good job Wok Box! Check out my other review of this breakfast joint from yesterday morning.

Swing and a Miss

Now keep in mind I went with my daughter very close to closing time, but I can say that the food was a total miss. I wasnt super hungry but I decided to get a full meal anyways cause I had a really late lunch. I ordered the quater chicken meal that was pretty popular there and it was pretty bland. I guess the restaurant is setup to cater to an older crowd but the food tasted like a microwaved dinner. Chicken was really really dry might have been cause we were coming there so late they didnt want to giive us any freshly cooked chicken. Not too sure. My daughters wrap wasnt very good either. It looked nice enough but when I had a taste my daughter and I agreed that it was terrible tasting and incredibly boring.

It was pretty cheap though but I guess since the food was so dull that it was probably priced well. The one thing I can say is that the lady that helped us out was very pleasant. It was probably the best service with the worst food I've had in a while. She was so nice and I know she wanted to get out of there but she wasnt rushing us at all. She kindly sat us down and talked about the menu a little bit.

It might have been what we ordered but I am very nervous about returning for another visit. Maybe I'll give it a while until I return.

Yummy in my Tummy
Submitted Friday, June 22, 2012 - 5:56pm [Dine in]

I remember when I used to live in North Van I would go to the local De Dutch there and I had not been to a location in a very long time, so after church I decided to go. The wait at the door was a little bit frustrating but I guess that shows alot of people love this place. I had the "windmill" which was recommended to us by the waitress. It was a great choice. I waited about 15 mins for my food which isnt bad considering it was pretty busy.

My hubby and I were totally pleased with the food. Not exactly what I remember from my days in North Van but tasty nonetheless. We were totally stuffed after breakfast. Not sure what the previous review was about, perhaps they were having a bad day or something but the value is pretty good. Sure it might be a few dollars more but you are getting a completely different dish from all the local places around town. I used to be a huge pantry fan but this is a great alternative if you want something a little different from the same ol scrambled eggs and toast around town. The bill for the both of us was about 30 bucks with tip. Not bad especially since we got awesome service from the lovely young lady. I will totally be back. Good thing cause I always do my Sunday grocery shop in Westgate Mall.
