microwaved food
Submitted Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 1:41pm [Dine in]

had terrible food here for brunch. I have been to the one on Granville and enjoyed it, so I expected the same on Main. We were seated promptly, and able to order not to long after sitting down. It took over an hour and 15 minutes to get our breakfast! Not only that, but I could see the kitchen putting the plates into the microwave. How hard is it to make eggs? You've got a kitchen back there..use it.
We finally get our meal and my friend's yolks on his benny are cooked solid. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "It's brunch?" What kind of response is that!! I bite into a hashbrown and it's scalding hot...like its been mircowaved!! I understand it's newly opened, but if you're not ready to serve people yet, you should wait until you're fully staffed before sending out microwaved food.

food was ok

was craving Korean, so we looked at the reviews and it seemed ok. Had a stone bowl, the pancake, giant soup w/ pork and the shortribs. The ribs came cooked and were just lukewarm. Kinda like they just were precooked and heated up for us. There was only one woman working, so understandably the service was lacking. It'll fill you up for sure, but it's just ok.

I came here on a Sunday w/ a friend and it was great. It wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. I was craving butter chicken, so along w/ that we had the curry beef and the palak paneer. The dishes come w/ your choice of naan or rice, so we ordered one rice, one naan, and one garlic naan. the service was attentive and we left w/ doggie bags for lunch the next day. Nice dinner out.

good service

went for dine out, and wasn't sure what to expect. The appetizers were good. We had the pate, shrimps and watermark salad. The mains were ok, but my risotto and squash were undercooked. Our server was great though, very attentive refilling our wine and bringing bread without asking. The service outshined the food.
