(3.9) (4) (4) (3.3) (4)I have been going here with my girlfriends since university. Their products are consistently good. My family also comes by for lunch or dessert on a regular basis. Their homemade ice cream is delicious. Great place to meet up - much better than going to the coffee chain in the same complex. I love supporting this local business - not only because their local but they offer great products.
I have been asked to meet at Panera for meetings three times over the last few months - they have seating, coffee and WiFi. However, I have been disappointed each time with their baked goods. On two occasions I asked them to microwave the item for a few seconds to hopefully soften it. The suprising thing is that I come in the morning - the goods should be fresh. After being to Artisano's (who have great products) Panera is fairly disappointing.
I recently discovered Swirls through a friend who uses them all the time because they are nut-free. I was pleasantly surprised that they use Swiss meringue type icing instead of sugar frosting. My husband and I really really enjoyed the vanilla, lemon and red velvet cupcakes. My kids really loved the chocolate. For the last few weeks (since Christmas) my family has been picking them us as a weekly treat. We love that we can pick up just enough to have a nice dessert. What a great find!
