If you are passionate about authentic Italian cuisine, Casa Fabesso is the place to be seen dining! Nestled at the bottom of the entrance to Reed Point Marina, Casa Fabesso owners, Roberto and Anna have brought more than a touch of Italy to Port Moody, they have brought its heart and soul. If Port Moody ever had a reason to call itself 'City of the Arts', this small bistro/restaurante is its crown jewel.

Thankfully, it is no longer one of the best-kept-secrets in the Greater Vancouver area, and if you want to get in for dinner, reservations are a must. The food is beyond fantastic, generous portions imaginatively and exquisitely prepared by Roberto, his extravagant passion for food a pure reflection of his aqueous roots in Venezia! The house wine is perfect for a simple pasta, but take our advice and let Roberto or Anna recommend a great wine to complement whate you choose from whatever they are serving for that evening!

A fun, and remarkably lovely synchronicity that lends credibility to my review is this: Roberto comes from Dolo-Mirano, Italy, a small community fifteen kilometers outside of Venice, this the same town where I have worked with educators for the last seven years!

Making incredible food even better is how Anna serves even a simple pasta beautifully in an environment she designed as well. You will immediately realize that she's an artist, and attends everything with an artists eye for detail! And don't get us started about her desserts! Her Chocolate Cheesecake "to live for!' And make sure to save room for something sweet to go with an espresso at the end of your meal!

The great news for us is that their front door is merely four docks away from the stern door of our 'island home', amiamo-adventuresdotcom. If you have a special event coming up, and want to conjur up an intimate evening for between 8 and 24 people, this is truly the place, and the space for magic!
