As with all the other reviewers, we found the service abysmally slow, even abhorrent. We waited at least an hour for our food (which merely comprised standard nigiri sushi on the much-hyped 'black' rice), watched at least one other table give up, and never received a portion of our order. We never even received refills of tea!
Once we did receive our food, I will agree that the 'black rice' (a mix of brown and wild rice, from what I can tell) was unique, and the sushi in itself was good (a bit too warm, though). But for sushi that's just average, it's just not worth the wait. I don't think we'll ever return again.
Went to this place in the early evening during the summer for a coffee, and the person working wouldn't make a cappuccino as she deemed it too late in the evening to justify cleaning the machine afterward (it was perhaps 7:30 or 8).
I thought I'd give it a second chance tonight, and ordered a raspberry tart to go. When I got home, I discovered at least 1/3 of the raspberries were moldy.
