I eat sushi at least 4 times a week. I came across Kibune a short while ago. I love the setup in there, I only wish they had a larger patio for the summer days. I've never had a problem with the service there, and am always greeted by both the hostess and at least one of the sushi chefs behind the sushi bar. The food is really good and fresh. The Spinach Gomae is a must when dining there, it's not a thick sweet peanut buttery sauce like what you would get at most restaurants, it's more of a vinaigrette with lots of flavor. The spinach is also cut so that it's not difficult to chew it.
Whenever I'm there I also always order the Miso soup, because it has a nicer flavor than that of the miso soups I've tried elsewhere. The overall freshness of the food is better than what I'm used to. The prices are a little higher, but it's really worth it for the excellent food and friendly service.
