From the moment me and my two sisters walked into this place we were taken. First of all the hostess opened the door for us as a welcome. I've never had this happen in the big city!!! Lovely waiting area, everyone is so very friendly too. Now the food......Wonderful Miso Soup (made from scratch and hot.) Tempura prawns and veggies are cooked perfectly and served with warm dipping sauce. We ordered a
teryiaki chicken lunch box to share....it's to much for one or you better be a filler up kinda guy, Extra
tempura prawns were a must to add to a huge plate of sweet stir fried veggies on rice . Everything is so
fresh and very well prepared and plated. I haven't one complaint about this place. I'd recommend it to
Enjoy, enjoy ...also the prices rock compared to the city. We will be going back again....
***WE JUST MOVED TO THE NEIGHTBOUR HOOD, WHAT A WONDERFUL WELCOME, THANK
YOU OEC JAPANESE ***

The very first time I went to this restaurant I ordered the Hot and Sour Soup. So did two other people in our party. All of us agreed that the soup tasted very very odd. Now no one likes to sick...am I right? So as a precaution we returned or bowls and explained to the waiter why we did not want to keep them. The waiter didn't agree with our assessment of the product, nor did he seem happy to be taking the items away from the table. Oooohhh well. The rest of our meal was just so so...nothing to really write home about. Them..
Today as a party of three we thought we would try this place again. Big mistake. Upon walking into the seating area we noticed that there were quite a few empty and waiting tables to be filled. But .....NO..... These are "All" reserved.. All of us felt very confused and out of place. No other explanation was given to us....I truly feel the colour of our hair and or skin played a huge difference in who was being served "first" at this establishment.
That will be the last attempt on this place. Besides Vancouver has far better dim sum rooms than this one.
No stars from me or from the rest of the group either.
