won't go again
Submitted Saturday, October 20, 2007 - 11:19am [Dine in]

I went there with my family on a friend's recommendation and we were very disappointed. while the portions weren't small, i wouldn't say that they were generous either, just very average. My sister and I had the curry chicken/beef and the meat was very tasteless and bland, especially the chicken. the ambiance isn't very comfortable either, not a place that i'll like to linger around in.

very SLOW

I went there the first week they opened for my friends birthday party and they were very ill prepared. Our food came very slowly and my dish, a simple dol sot bibimbap took 3 hours to come. When it did it was barely warm, indication that it must've been sitting somewhere for quite some time. Either that or they forgot the dol sot part =.= When we complained to the waiter after the initial 1.5-2 hours, he said that it was because they have a wait list for the food. doesn't make any sense, seeing how the people who had a table next to us got their food first, paid for it and left even though we had ordered before they had even arrived. The manager lady who fired up the bbq for us also scolded another waiter in front of us very loudly for having forgotten to cut the meat. I understand if she wants to scold but it shouldn't be done in front of the customers. On a brighter note after we had finished eating it turns out that they had bought a birthday cake from Anna's Cake House for my friend, so we ended up having 2 birthday cakes and they gave us all traditional korean style cell phone chains. However it's not a restaurant that i'm ever going to try again.

love their dol sot bibimbap, my favourite korean restaurant ever. I also love the non traditional pasta salad appetizer that they give, one which i haven't been able to find in any of the other korean restaurants that I've ever gone to

not the best i've seen but it's not too bad. it's hard to get the servers attention not because they have a lot of customers but it seems as if they haven't hired enough people. While most of the food is lacking in taste I absolutely adore their curry coquette.

my favourite cha chan in the lower mainland. the portions, especially the mini set are larger than most other restaurants and while the wait for a table can be annoying it's worth it for the food. Wish they would expand the restaurant.

getting worse..
Submitted Friday, October 19, 2007 - 11:44am [Dine in]

while it's never been a favourite this restaurant seemed tolerably decent enough at first and while the service itself is still ok, the food is getting worse. I went with my family and friends and we knew that the restaurant isn't too good but chose to go there anyways because it's easy to get a table and have time to sit and chat. In the end I didn't think that it was even worth that because of the poor food quality. Ate very little and left feeling very unsatisfied.
