I was really looking forward to dining at Glowball, I heard lots of good things about, however I have to admit I was a little disappointed with it.
The satay that we had to start was good and tasty, but the entree was cold, and the edges of my pasta were so dried out, it was obvious it had sat under the heat lamps for a while before being brought to us.
The dessert was delicious though - by far the best bit.
The service was terrible, I reserved a table, but we still had to wait 35 minutes to be sat, then we were given menus and left for another 15 minuets without so much as an acknowledgement from the server. When the server did arrive, he didn't offer any recommendations for wine or food. The food was slow to come out approximately 20 minutes inbetween each course.
The music was far too loud, couldn't even talk without shouting at each other. The table next to us seemed to think it was a bar rather than a nice restaurant, doing shooters and getting up and down and banging into us the whole time.
Overall, I wouldn't rush back.....
