I have been to the Chambar a few times now. Every time, the service has been good. Nothing to complain about, and nothing over the top. One note however: after being asked to wait an extra half hour for our reserved seats, we were offered our first round of drinks for free.
The food at Chambar is excellent! Every dish I have sampled (almost all of them) have been prepared excellently. As already mentioned, their moules frites are very good. Also, I enjoyed their brioche bread.
The mussles are also done very well. Each of the three types of mussels taste great, and I would recommend it to anyone. These are great to share or to have even as a meal. I would also suggest trying their appetizers. I have enjoyed all of them immensely.
The main courses are excellent. I especially enjoyed the venison, lamb, and arctic char. Not only are the meats prepared well, I really enjoyed the garnishes and sides that come with them.
As I am usually stuffed by the time I get to the dessert, I have not much to say about the dessert except that I enjoy the thin pineapple slices that comes with the bruleed pineapple.
Overall, amazing food. Good service. Quite pricey. Really noisy.
