I recently dined here with my wife and some friends from out of town. We had been recommended this place from a friend as we usually dine weekly at the Keg and were told that this new place Pinkys blew them out of the water.
We were not disapointed. I had the New York, my wife had the Filet medallions I believe they were called, and our friends split a porterhouse. All the steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted phenominal. The sauce served on my wife's meal was fantastic. I had the "Pinky's Plush Potato" with my meal, which is their spin on tradition mashed potatoes, wrapped in a spring roll - excellent signature side. We all shared the desert sampler which included key lime pie, chocolate pecan pie, and tiramisu, all three were great, a little heavy on the whip cream though. Definately NOT costco material as previously suggested.
The dining room is very nicely decorated, mainly booth seating and a nice casual feel, the only criticism I had was that in the two hours we spent there (drinks became very enjoyable) the music became a little tiresome, a few repeats and some songs that didn't seem to fit the environment.
Overall a great experience, will definately return and recommend.
