Looking for a great lunch at a fair price. Lunch menu has great selection is varied and usually under $10.00. Lots of food well prepared. My favorite is a Mushroom burger. Piled high with fresh mushrooms not canned. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Get there early for lunch as the place is usually packed.

The place for best value fish & chips in White Rock

Where the locals go for fish & chips, there must be a reason. I am a regular once a week customer. Large pieces of fish (your choice: Cod Halibut or salmon) fries, cold slaw or salad. Fish is lightly coated then baked. Not fat or grease just the tastiest fish you could ask for. Made from fresh fish not previously frozen and prepared by Eddie who used to be a executive chef before he started his "Whale' Tale Cafe". Give them a try you won't regret it.

I had their club house sandwich last week. WOW...... they stack it high and with their pan fries which are the best ever it makes a great lunch. They have a novel selection of breakfast and lunch items which allows for variety of choice each time you go. Their burgers are totally home made, fresh and delicious. I had the Mexican burger it was fantastic. Most times for breakfast and lunch they are busy but it doesn't take too long before you are seated.

As everything is made fresh and from scratch it takes a while but the customers seem to find the wait worth it. I would recommend you give them a try. I guarantee it won't be your only visit once you give them.

Irish Breakfast
Submitted Sunday, September 28, 2008 - 9:23am [Dine in]

Tried their Irish Breakfast. Was good value. Close to what I remember. It had a good selection. I would go back it's somewhat of a old country type setting, not rushed like most chain restaurants. They have a pretty extensive menu. It is a locals place for breakfast so don't try to make comparisons with other breakfast restaurants just go there for the food and the ambience.

One of the best for Irish

We have been to most if not all the Irish pubs in Vancouver area and we rate this as the best. The food selection is nicely varied, the prices for the quality of food and quantity is reasonable and below what we paid for less in other restaurants. The service has always been excellent and not rushed. I would recommend the Celtic Times to anyone for a great and relaxing evening.
