disapointing
Submitted Tuesday, October 26, 2010 - 11:32am [Dine in]

My daughter and I went to this place on a Saturday. We should have been warned because there were many empty tables. The service was slow people who came later were served and when I wanted to place an order I was told an other waiter was serving us which took a while.
I had a hamburger with onions must have come from the day before. They were ice cold and just mixed with some ketchup?? yuk. The fries were re fried with many small burned pieces. My daughter had the eggs benedict with old potatoes as well. When we checked out it took a while because the servers had computer problems We are not going back

Ann inn and restaurant what used to be owned by dutch people but now has a lot of dutch touches. tiles on the table lampshades etc
The food used to be good but is cheap, cheap now
We ordered croquettes .It only came with a few fries. My husband wanted a slice of toast with it but had to pay separate for this
Normally you would expect a bit of salad and toast included.
The quality of the food was meager.
This dish was & 8.75 and with tea our lunch added up to $ 14 ea
The service was friendly and the place clean but they are not going to see us again

Milestone's Grill and Bar2401 Millstream road, Victoria
disappointing meal
Submitted Monday, July 27, 2009 - 11:38am [Dine in]

My daughter and I went for dinner on a Friday evening. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The food was disappointing. My daughter had a steak which was excellent but for vegetables she had 3 thin small asparagus.
I ordered a Thai stir fry with a chicken breast. The chicken breast was tender but the stir fry was just noodles swimming in a nondescript brow sauce. It was not stir fry. For dessert I had a Butterscotch pot. A custard with chocolate sauce. but commercial cookies on it.

Green Cuisine Vegetarian Restaurant560 Johnson St, 5, Victoria
can always count on quality

We have often eaten at the green cuisine and were never disappointed.
You have to like vegetarian. I go with a friend because my husband has no taste for it.
The buffet has some dishes which are oriental and very good.
I buy "tempeh" in a package to take home because I don't know another place in Victoria who sells it.
The interior is simple and clean but that does not bother us we come for the food.

We were in Victoria and thought let us go to a tourist kind of a place.
I had looked up the location. It was a warm sunny day .Lots of tourists around. The restaurant however was almost empty. Just one other couple Even if you take the location into consideration the food is expensive.
My sister had a small soup ,sandwich, and a coffee.
I had a wrap. It had only a small amount of chicken in it and the edges were burned. I also had a diet pop which was refilled. The bill was $ 35.oo
Expensive for a simple lunch

We went with 6 people .The place was busy and LOUD. There was hardly room for the food on the table.
My friend had ordered soup and had to pay $ 2.25? for a piece of bread with the soup. When it came it was really burnt. Overall the food is so, so and overpriced

Submitted Sunday, October 21, 2007 - 7:47am [Dine in]

years ago we went to this restaurant and had a good experience but not this time
I feel for the poor tourists who thinks they get a taste of a tea room
the place is rundown and not very clean.
My sister had French onion soup what looked like dishwasher water with onions on it. I had a hamburger and would have had a better one in any of the commercial joints.
I feelsorry for the tourists
