We've visited as Thursday family dinner.
At first, we tried Guu with Garlic because they 're reputation is good. It was too crowded and we were told we had to wait 40 minutes, we also smelled some gas. Too many young people may not fit for a family dinner. We drove to Guu and saw same amount of young people waiting from outside then came to Asahi-ya.
My family liked Sushi rolls and Kimuchi Ramen and rated outstanding. As a father and a native Japanese, I may rate solid but I respect my kids and wife's rating.
We've visited Northern Delicacy as Thursday's family lunch. We expected Dim Sum carts going around but there's nothing and we need to order from menu. There is a category on the menu with dim sum foods on it. The menu includes Japanese text. Some are pretty tasty some are not so. This is very convenient place for shopping and price is good. I may come again.
I visited with my daughter on Friday lunch since the sushi garden was full. Tuna sashimi was big pieces and not red color rather looks like albacore or toro (fatty tuna) but there's not much taste so not very good for me. At least it seems fresh. Rolls are decent but not the best. I don't complain with the amount, price and service. Much better than Seattle area. I feel I would come again if the sushi garden is full.
