(3.3)I was surprised by the quality of food served at Jamieson's. They have a varied menu and every item my family has tried was above average. The price is also a little above average, but for once, it was worth it. I highly recommend this place on a nice summer evening, on the patio.
I have been there 3 times now and will be back. Although on a busy area, the owner has manage to create a haven of peace. I find the place beautiful, the music calming and the tea excellent. This feels like a spa for tea lovers. My only recommendation is that they vary their menu a little, everytime I went, the desserts offered were the same (all great, but I would love to sample something new). Don't walk by, this is worth the try.
I can't comment on the ambiance and service, since this was a take-out meal. The food was simply gross. We tried it the night we moved to Port Moody (too tired to cook), and we were VERY hungry. My husband and I love Greek food but we were both so disappointed our meal ended out in the garbage. Go the extra 20 minutes to the restaurant in Coquitlam (Alekos), it's more expensive, but at least it's edible.
