Fantastic pizza & pasta
Submitted Friday, October 13, 2006 - 6:58pm [Dine in]

Great pizza & pasta, though a bit pricey. I had the pasta special one night with a creamy lemon sauce that might just be the best pasta dish I've ever had. Pizza outstanding, if you like flat bread pizza. Nice view of the pizza oven, and a pretty cool location & ambiance as well. Well worth a try.

Great Greek food at great prices
Submitted Friday, October 13, 2006 - 6:49pm [Dine in]

Hard to beat the combination of fresh, tasty Greek food at such reasonable prices (probably because they are a bit off the beaten path).

Nice atmosphere, attentive service & generous portions of excellent food. Highly recommended.

Funky atmosphere & food

I've been here four or five times now, and in all but one case had great food. I love the chili wrapped chicken appetizer, which has never dissapointed. The first reviewer's comment about cumin seems very odd, as in numerous meals I've never noticed much, if any, at all.

I've brought several friends & family here, and every one has had a good time & enjoyed the food.

New owners - great fish & chips
Submitted Friday, October 13, 2006 - 6:41pm [Dine in]

Small placwe near entrance to Granville Island. really packs them in at lunchtime. New owners are working hard to make things right, and after three meals there I believe they are on track. The fish & chips are great, with a superb light & flaky batter. No greasy taste, and the waitress told me that is due to their frequent changing of the oil.

My companion loved the oyster sandwich & clam chowder.

Very friendly service.

Don't expect much in the way of ambiance, however.

Great food & view
Submitted Friday, October 13, 2006 - 6:23pm [Dine in]

Menu showed a willingness to branch out from the typical Thai food so prevelant these days. Our party of six was seated promptly. Service was quick & friendly. We ordered a variety of item as we all wanted to try both traditional & more adventurous creations. Everything but the conch appetizer was superb; better than I have had at any other Thai restaurant, and I've been to many. Waterfront location a plus as well.

Amazing variety of tastes at reasonable prices

One of my favorites in Vancouver. Something for almost every taste, and extremely creative dishes. Seafood, chicken, meats, vegetarian, its all here with numerous tantalizing sauces to chose from. One can taste influences from several different countries, and the explosion of flavors is wonderful.

Can get very busy, so reservations are definitely recommended. You still may have to wait a bit, but I suppose their popularity proves they are doing something right.

Ice cold barbeque delivered slowly
Submitted Friday, October 13, 2006 - 4:09pm [Dine in]

Took 10 minutes for waitress to take our order, and another 15-20 minutes to get ice cold barbeque chicken, ice cold mashed potatos & a side salad that looked it was a few days old. After 5 minutes we got somebody to take it away to be reheated, and after another 20 minutes with no food & no coffee or water refills we left. I've heard breakfast is good here, but I'll never know. Still, they have been around since 1926 so they must be doing somthing right, and I have to assume what happened to us is not the norm.
