(2.5) (3) (2.6) (3.5) (2.1)This be a good place to have tasty south indian food. The lunch buffet (i am not sure if it is everyday or just on weekends) is great value. I would not order the north indian food they prepare though, but the dosas, idlis, sambhar et al are just great.
The food here is really good. Friendly staff, i have dined in but it is not the most comfy place to eat so i prefer to take out now. The cream paneer and cream chicken are very good. The rest of the menu seems nice too (the part we tried). We found the vegetarian dishes to be tastier than the non veg ones (the dal makhani is awesome).
We are repeat customers (the only other indian restaurant we go to is Mirch Masala).
We really enjoy going to this restaurant. We would say that it is one of the best Indian restaurants in Surrey (and that is saying a lot as there are so many of them). The food is very good. We like the non-veg and veg thallis which have a nice variety and are decently priced.

Seeing the great reviews we went to this place with great expectations. We found that the food was just okay and a bit pricey. The Spanokopita was good, the halibut steak a little bland, the pita bread was delicious. Decor is too crowded, Service was okay but the waiter disappeared after giving us the food (which came pretty quick i must say).
just okay - nothing great. i was hoping food would have more jing in it but no.
We used to love this restaurant because it is so hard to get decent South Indian fare in Vancouver and the dosas were very yummy. The service was cheerful and we got lot of chutney selections with what ever was ordered. But lately the attitude has changed. No one comes to ask if we need anything more once the food has been served and they were hesitant at serving chutneys with some dishes.
Disappointed and not going back there again!
Nice location for this restaurant and the food is not bad either but why does the decor have to be so tacky. It makes the places look so overcrowded.
Please tear down those paintings and the hanging lights!
One word to describe it all will be Poor. The decor was tacky, the food was pretty bad and when we commented on a dish being really bad to the waitress, we got a reply saying it is not her fault they make what they make! We had to insist to get it replaced.
Stay away from this joint!
