cant get lower than this

i have to agree when someone would ask, why is this place still open? the food is horrible, even on the menu it looks bad, but wait till it's served. everything was wrong. and who in the right mind would give FOOD, SUSHI, corny names such as "kiss of fire" or something like that. gosh. and the service, i think the owner is wasting money paying his employees when all they do is close to nothing. takes them forever to get anything right, forever to take notice when you need something, and when they do come, bad attitude as well. im pretty sure the only reason why it is still open is because of their location.
i would recomment fish on rice if you're looking for all you can eat and kirin sushi if you are looking for excellent food with outstanding ambiance (a koi poind at the entrance? you have go to give a 5 for that not to mention their lightings and decorations)

a hot waiter doesn't make it all go away
Submitted Monday, August 27, 2007 - 6:28pm [Dine in]

i went there with a bunch of friend, a group of around 15 people at night to eat AYCE.

took them a while to take our orders, even longer for our food to arrive, and the food wasn't even warm. all the sashimi and the sushi ordered, they were incredibly small.. honestly they looked like baby food. the sashimi didn't taste fresh either. and the rolls, i have never seen anything smaller than that, it was like about the size of your finger.
we ordered many things and it took them quite some time to get them out, and we realized we didn't even get the portion or the quantity of all things ordered. it was as if the orders disappeared. it was very unpleasant and no one ever came back to refil our drinks or tea.
i had to wait 30 minuts before i can place and order for nigiri sushi which came after approx another 30minuts.

the only good thing i can say about them is one of the waiter is very attractive. i was about to ask for him name and # if he hadn't stopped coming to serve just like the rest of the waiters.

Very Clean
Submitted Sunday, July 22, 2007 - 12:05pm [Dine in]

I had only been there once but I was amazed at how clean and nice everything was placed and decorated. I must say, when I think of a Chinese restaurant, I always imagine a dirty place with oily tables and messy floor, but this restaurant was first class. The waitresses were decent; nothing bad but nothing special either. The food wasn't bad either. Very shiny and decorative.
I would definitely be going back again this summer.

Needs Improvement
Submitted Sunday, July 22, 2007 - 11:57am [Dine in]

I had been to Daimasu on a couple of occasions and I must say none of them were good. To begin with, the waitress could not have been more rude nor distant. Whenever they brought us food, they just place it on the table, not minding that their abrupt presense had ruined our conversation, and they always looked mean or constipated without a smile. Sometimes when they caught my eyes when I needed something, they just quickly turned away before I could ask them come over. And the food wasn't that great either. Didn't taste like Japanese, tasted like Japanese food made in China.
I would not be going back there agian.
